PURPOSE: A flat board display device is provided to fabricate micro electro mechanical elements by a micro machining technology, and to form a color filter and the micro electro mechanical elements as one body, so as to increase light-using efficiency and lower a production cost as well as improving arrangement precision. CONSTITUTION: A color filter layer(24) is formed on a back transparent substrate(20). A transparent electrode(21) is formed on the color filter layer(24) as an electric conductor. Micro electro mechanical elements(22) are formed on the back transparent substrate(20) to switch light. A supporting beam(23) supports the back transparent substrate(20) and a front transparent substrate(25).
