[Class 52 (ii)] The seat claimed in the parent Specification is modified by dividing the front anchorage 3 forming the major part of the seat proper (together with the front part of the superposed flexible element 2) longitudinally into two complementary parts 3a, 3b forming between them a passageway 4 extending from the front of the seat inwardly thereof. When the seat is for a pilot's use in an aircraft, the passageway 4 provides a channel for the entry of the control stick. The parts 3a, 3b of the front anchorage may have independent rocking movement to accommodate the movements of the pilot's legs, and may be resiliently controlled as described in Specification 522,100. |
