摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing nozzle plates in which nozzle holes are formed highly accurately by laser beams. SOLUTION: A laser beam machine has a suction mechanism 50 set to a working table 29. The nozzle plate 40 not yet machined is placed on a nozzle sheet 51 of the suction mechanism 50. In a state while the nozzle plate 40 is sucked by the suction mechanism 50 to the nozzle sheet 51, nozzle holes 41 are machined to the nozzle plate 40 by emitting laser beams. The suction mechanism 50 has each of suction holes 54 formed to the nozzle sheet 51 of positions corresponding to nozzle holes 41 to be formed. The suction mechanism 50 sucks through a suction passage 52 and opening parts 55. While the nozzle holes 41 are not formed, sucking from the suction holes 54 adheres the nozzle plate 40 to the nozzle sheet 51. After the nozzle holes 41 are formed, the air in the periphery of the nozzle holes 41 are started to be sucked, and by-products at the machining time are also sucked and discharged to be prevented from adhering to the nozzle plate 40, particularly to the periphery of the nozzle holes 41.</p>
