METHOD FOR MEASURING MOISTURE PERMEATION QUANTITY IN PERIPHERAL SEALING PART OF DOUBLE-GLAZING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing method by which the deterioration state of the sealing part of a double-glazing unit may be recognized with a smaller number of test specimens for a durability test for investigating such deterioration of the double-glazing unit with lapse of time that a desiccant gradually absorbs moisture and dew condensation is liable to occur in a hollow layer. SOLUTION: The double-glazing unit is formed by using two float glass sheets 4, arranging the glass sheets opposite to each other by using spacers 11 made of aluminum and integrating the glass sheets by means of primary sealing materials 15 and/or secondary sealing materials 10. The desiccant 9 which is puttable into and out of a hollow layer 14 of the double-glazing unit is disposed in the hollow layer and the moisture permeation quantity of the peripheral sealing part is measured by determining the change in the weight of the desiccant.
