PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket conveyor capable of being continuously operated for a long time while preventing the abrasion of a steady plate by a bucket, and further continuously operated for a long time while preventing the unnecessary rotation of the bucket in a case having no steady plate. SOLUTION: This bucket conveyor comprises a projection 35 formed on an outer face of the bucket 10, and a guide plate 46 opposite to projection 35 from at least one of upper and lower parts, and the projection 35 is abutted and slid on the guide plate 46, which prevents the rotation of the bucket 10 any more, when the bucket 10 is rotated around a horizontal shaft by a predetermined amount in sliding an opening and closing plate 43 in interlocking with the movement of the bucket 10. Whereby the abrasion of the bucket 10 and the steady plate 45 can be prevented while preventing the abrasion of the guide plate 46 by the projection 35 in a case when the guide plate 46 is mounted. Further the guide plate 46 acts as the steady plate, which dispenses with the steady plate 45, and prevents the abrasion of the guide plate 46 by the projection 35.
