TAPE WINDING DEVICE AND TAPE WINDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape winding device and a tape winding method capable of winding a tape in a coil without causing fluctuation in tension. SOLUTION: This tape winding device 1 comprises a tape feed shaft 13 connected to a tape roll 12 and a winding shaft 15 for winding the tape 11 delivered from the tape roll 12 in the shape of the coil 16. The present diameter of the coil 16 is calculated from the length of the wound tape 11 obtained by a tape winding length measuring device 20 and the known thickness of the tape 11, and rotational speed of the winding shaft 15 is controlled based on the result of the calculation. Between the tape feed shaft 13 and the winding shaft 15, the tape 11 is wound around a dancer roller 21, and the rotational speed of the tape feed shaft 13 is corrected based on the angle of a dancer bar 22 supporting the dancer roller 21.
