PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood for a household kerosene tank which is designed to prevent moisture from mixing into the tank, dew from forming, rust from growing due to rain and snow, and an oil gage from being buried under the snow, and also designed to improve, cover and prevent an accumulation of snow since a flat plate on the uppermost part of the tank, an oil inlet port placed on the plate, a deaeration pipe and the oil gage are exposed. SOLUTION: A triangular pyramid hood 1 having a slope of approximately 60 degrees is mounted on the uppermost part of a household kerosene tank 14 to cover the tank and prevent snow from accumulating, and an open/close door 2 made of a transparent plate for oil feeding is provided on a side of an oil inlet port of the hood 1.
