PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving device which can continuously perform an edge finding work for square cloths such as sheets. SOLUTION: This moving device for square shaped cloths such as sheets in a laundry device is constituted of a relay conveyor 80 and a dividing conveyor 81. In this case, the relay conveyor 80 receives the square shaped cloths wherein one edge is extended by a moving body 2, and delivers the cloths to a vacuum conveyor 82. Also, this moving device is constituted of the relay conveyor, the vacuum conveyor, a pressing device, a delivering device 88, and an extending conveyor 90. In this case, for the relay conveyor, one line detecting sensors are arranged on respective conveyors which are divided. The vacuum conveyor delivers the square shaped cloths such as sheets to a discharging conveyor 91 which moves the cloths to a pressing machine. The pressing device presses the extended one edge of the square shaped cloths to the front end section of the vacuum conveyor when the square shaped cloths between the relay conveyor and the vacuum conveyor are delivered from the receiving conveyor to the vacuum conveyor. The delivering device 88 delivers the square shaped cloths to the vacuum conveyor by suction-holding the vicinity of the extended one edge of the square shaped cloths. The extending conveyor 90 extends the continuous section of the square shaped cloths which are moved in the direction to the discharging conveyor by the vacuum conveyor.
