PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball tray which can suppress drying of received food such as rice balls by reducing a gap occurring between overlapped peripheries. SOLUTION: A periphery of a main body 11 is formed with a protrusion 25 swelling in one direction, wherein the protrusion 25 is formed to be capable of engaging with an engaging recess formed on a periphery of a lid (not shown) in a manner that engagement of the recess and the protrusion is allowed. The protrusion 25 (engaging recess) is formed to swell continuously around the whole periphery of the main body 11 (lid). Therefore, if the lid is put over the main body 11 as they face each other, the engaging recess is engaged in the recess-and-protrusion-engaging manner with the protrusion 25, so that the food such as rice balls can be covered between the main body 11 and the lid in an approximately tightly shut state. As a result, the food such as rice balls can be completely isolated from the open air and prevented from drying. |
