PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing common salt, making it possible to produce, in a greatly reduced production time, such common salt as to be high in dissolving and penetrative power because of originally comprising minute crystals, instantaneously applicable to an appropriate seasoning, and have relatively low salinity and no bitterness, and to greatly reduce manufacturing time. SOLUTION: This method for producing common salt comprises the following process: piling up sea sand to make dry beach having a predetermined height at a beach, pumping sea water on the piled dry beach using a pump to make the sea water soak into the dry beach or make it flow out, storing the resultant sea water into a water hole adjacent to the dry beach, cleaning the thus stored sea water to obtain salt water followed by formulating garlic into the thus obtained salt water, heating the resultant mixture to make the garlic dissolve in the salt water, and thereafter, drying the thus obtained common salt. The common salt obtained by the above-mentioned method has excellent characteristics mentioned above such as to comprise minute crystals, to be high in dissolving and penetrative power and to need a short production time, and such that the bitterness is eliminated therefrom. |
