PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint which prevents dust from entering and being deposited into a gap between an inner and an outer cylinders. SOLUTION: By arranging a gas supply means supplying a cleaning gas into the gap between the inner and outer cylinders, the dust is prevented from entering into the gap, and the entering/deposited dust is washed/removed by the cleaning gas.
