PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a waxy hair dressing imparting mat feeling and dry feeling to the hair, and enabling natural styling. SOLUTION: This waxy hair dressing contains (A) one or two kinds selected from the group consisting of microcrystalline wax and candelilla wax, (B) a liquid oil, (C) kaolin, and optionally (D) a highly polymerized polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of >=20,000 and (E) an alkyl acrylate- alkyl methacrylate copolymer.
