PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hypothermic or hyperthermic treatment system comfortably usable without a patient burning oneself or the like. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a temperature changing unit 10, a first conduit 16 and an open cell diffusion unit 12. The temperature changing unit receives a medium at the heated or cooled ambient temperature and converts the medium into a second medium at a desired temperature. The first conduit feeds the second medium to the open cell diffusion unit. The open cell diffusion unit is provided with a receiving opening, a central chamber and an open cell means. The receiving opening receives the first conduit. The central chamber receives the second medium. The open cell means surrounds the central chamber excluding a region where the receiving opening is disposed. The second medium is distributed all over the open cell means and turned in all the directions in a predetermined region.
