LUMBER CELL REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIAL, PREPREG THEREFOR, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumber cell reinforced composite material comprising a new composite structure, while a prepreg suitable for manufacture thereof and the manufacturing method are provided, which is equipped with mechanically physical properties equivalent to or exceeding those of high rigid natural lumber such as rosewood, ebony and the like, can be substituted for the ebony and the like and is equipped with mechanically physical properties for becoming parts of a machine, an apparatus and a structure. SOLUTION: A lumber cell reinforced composite material is a formed body of an elaborate structure wherein a thermosetting resin constitutes a continuous phase from a sheet-like lumber group in which a content in the lumber cell is a touch or none and the thermosetting resin. The prepreg is provided wherein its sheet-like lumber is impregnated with a thermosetting resin. The manufacturing method is a method wherein the prepreg is integrated by pressurizing and heating by a quantitative ratio of 50-400 pts.wt. (thermosetting resin)/100 pts.wt. (sheet-like lumber).
