PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance positioning accuracy of a nozzle face with respect to a carriage without increasing the head case. SOLUTION: Two protrusions 45 and 46 becoming first and second abutting parts 41 and 42 are provided at the left and right end parts of flange section 51b of a head case 51 and one protrusion 44 becoming a third abutting part 43 is provided on a cartridge holder 6. A nozzle face 52 is positioned with respect to a carriage 4 while abutting against the bottom part 4a of the carriage 4 at three points, i.e., two protrusions of the head case and one protrusion of the cartridge holder.
