PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room lamp capable of lighting directions other than a vehicle downward direction and a room mirror for a vehicle provided with such a room lamp. SOLUTION: A housing part 262 is formed in a mirror main body 252. The housing part 262 houses a lamp house 264 housing an electric bulb and a secondary battery therein under a condition the lamp house 264 is retained by a guide rail 294 from a lower side. Accordingly, a desired place can be lit by pulling off the lamp house 264 from the housing part 262.
