PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture foam having an open-cell structure, having low hardness and excellent in shape recovery properties after compression. SOLUTION: A foam forming material, which contains (A) a rubber elastomer and (B) a foaming agent comprising a combination of a low decomposition temperature foaming agent and a high decomposition temperature foaming agent of which the decomposition temperature is higher than that of the low decomposition temperature foaming agent by 10 deg.C or higher, is heat-treated at the decomposition temperature of the low decomposition temperature foaming agent to perform one stage foaming and subsequently heat-treated at the decomposition temperature of the high decomposition temperature foaming agent to perform second stage foaming. |
