PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-concentration dispersion by additionally adding a (meth)acrylic acid-containing water-soluble monomer (mixture) even after the start of polymerization in a dispersion polymerization method in which the (meth)acrylic acid-containing water-soluble monomer (mixture) and a polymer dispersant soluble in an aqueous solution of a salt are present in the aqueous solution. SOLUTION: The polymer dispersant and the salt are also added to the water-soluble monomer (mixture) to be additionally added.
