PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semi-eternal synthetic hair-dyeing agent consisting of a semi-eternal cationic dye which is liquid and performs capillary flow, and to provide a method for applying the same on the hair. SOLUTION: The synthetic hair-dyeing agent has the following characteristics: the agent is stored in a liquid container with the evaporation rate held at a certain level; it consists of an arbitrarily selected polymer component for preventing the abrasive dropping of the dye; it has a viscosity in such a range that it freely flows but at the same time does not drip, and on the other hand, it does not accumulate on the hair; and it is suitable for the application on the hair.
