PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an after-treating agent for hair dyeing, capable of repairing damage caused by the hair dyeing, also preventing the accumulation of the damage beforehand and improving a feeling with hand and color fastness by applying it on the hair treated with the hair dyeing. SOLUTION: This after-treating agent for hair dyeing is characterized by comprising (A) a pH-buffering agent consisting of an organic acid and/or organic acid salt and an alkali agent, and (B) a wheat protein hydrolysate and/or silylated protein hydrolysate.
