摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish brake control capable of easily ensuring braking force even upon insufficient main braking force while a driving wheel of an industrial vehicle is braked, and ensure necessary braking force or more substantially continuously even upon a failure in a sensor used for the brake control. SOLUTION: A rear wheel (driving wheel) 6 is braked when a brake pedal 35 is operated to actuate a main brake device 33 and when an accelerator lever 11 is operated for switchback motion to cause regenerative braking of a travel motor 14. When a microcomputer 53 decides that main braking be assisted on the basis of parameters (slip values and the like) provided by detection values of various sensors 28, 32, 37 and 49, it controls the current value of a brake valve unit 20 to actuate auxiliary brake devices 26 arranged on a right and a left front wheel (driven wheel) 5. If any one of the sensors 28, 32, 37 and 49 is found failing, auxiliary braking is set to the safest strength (maximum value and the like).
