PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure for an automobile door not requiring a fitting/removing action of a weather strip again at a fitting/removing action of a grommet. SOLUTION: The weather strip 17 is arranged along a vertical fitting line astride the substrate section 22 of the grommet 20 inserted and fixed to the recess 12 of the end face section 11a of a door frame on the hinge connection side to a vehicle body. The weather strip 17 is provided with a parting section 17a corresponding to the fitting region of the substrate section 22, an auxiliary weather strip 18 is fitted to the substrate section 22, its upper end section is overlapped on an upper parting end section 17b of the weather strip 17 from the indoor side A, and its lower end section is overlapped on a lower parting end section 17c from the outdoor side B.
