PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a component fixing section of a synthetic resin fuel tank without causing the loosening of the fixed state of a fitted component due to an aging deterioration and the reduction of a sealing property. SOLUTION: In this structure for a component fixing section of a synthetic resin fuel tank 1 provided with an opening 2 having a tubular section 3 formed with a male screw 3b on the outer periphery, one end of a socket member 11 formed with a female screw 11a on the inner periphery is screwed to the tubular male screw, a lock member 12 formed with a male screw 12a on the outer periphery is screwed to the other end of the socket member, and the fitted component (cover plate 5) is pinched between the axial end of the tubular section and the lock member and fixed to the opening. Since the fixing strength can be acquired by the screw coupling between the socket member and the lock member, the fixed state does not depend on the resiliency of the inner peripheral flange of a lock nut, thereby it is hardly affected by the aging deterioration.
