PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To slove a problem wherein every time feed of a piece-shaped resin pauses, a pellet manufacturing apparatus must be stopped. SOLUTION: A received amount-detecting sensor 11b capable of detecting a specific received amount of recycling resin stored in a hopper device 11a is arranged at a specific position on an inner wall surface of the hopper devie 11a equipped to a recycling resin feeding apparatus 11. According to a detected state of the received amount-detecting sensor 11b, an extruding speed of a molten resin in a molten resin extruding apparatus 12 and a cutting speed of a die face cutter part 14b in a pelletizer 14 are controlled at a low speed when the received amount is little and controlled at a high speed when the received amount is much. Thereby a trouble wherein operation of the pellet manufacturing apparatus 10 is stopped due to lessening of the received amount is prevented, and continuous running for a long period of time can be executed.
