PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler rod for improving workability and ensuring bond strength in joining a polyolefin-based sheet to a polyolefin-based sheet and a joining method. SOLUTION: This filler rod 1 for polyolefin-based sheets is composed of an olefinic resin composition having 50-150 Mpa tensile modulus at 20 deg.C and 15-100 g MFR value. The readily cuttable filler rod 1 deformable by adequate temperature and having good joining workability is obtained by adding either one or both of waxes and tackifier to the olefinic resin composition or including an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin having 80-120 deg.C melting point and 5-20 wt.% vinyl acetate content as a main component. When polyolefin-based sheets are joined, these sheets are joined by using the above filler rod. |
