PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb size dispersion between respective parts of a vehicle and a seat, inexpensively provide smooth and stable sliding movement without increasing or adding new parts, and improve operability by reducing frictional resistance. SOLUTION: Roller receiving step parts 12f are formed on both sides of a bottom part of a long lower rail 12. An upper rail 13 is formed from a main body part 13a and a vertical wall 13e protruding upward from an opening 12e. A roller 27 is inserted between the step parts 12f of the long lower rail 12 and an upper wall 13d of the main body part 13a of the upper rail 13. A shaft hole 27e is formed on the roller 27. A roller shaft 27c attached between both side walls of the upper rail 13 is inserted in the shaft hole 27e. A space part 27f is formed in the shaft hole 27e by a tapered face spreading in an outward direction.
