PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine cut surface without flaws such as deformation or crazing in a cake having a hollow portion or the like in a bottom face side, made of soft material, and easily broken by small pressing force. SOLUTION: A horizontally moving air cylinder 5 moving horizontally is provided on a machine casing. An inverted U-shaped ultrasonic cutter attaching plate 7 is attached to lower tips of longitudinal telescopic shafts 6 of the air cylinder 5. Output horns 8 and 8 are mounted to hanging side faces 9 and 9 of the ultrasonic cutter attaching plate 7, and a substantially straight band shaped ultrasonic vibration cutting blade 10 is attached to tips of the output horns 8 and 8. A conveyance conveyer 11 is provided in a lower side of a descending position of the cutting blade and a cake suppressing plate 16 fixed to a lower face of a sponge plate 15 is attached to a suppressing telescopic shaft 14 of a suppressing air cylinder 12 attached to the machine casing 1. The longitudinal telescopic shafts 6 of the air cylinder 5 are simultaneously extended and lowered during horizontal movement of the air cylinder 5 and the cutting blade 10 is lowered for cutting in an obliquely downward direction by composition of horizontal and perpendicular displacements.
