PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new polypeptide having a structure analogous to the structure of fibroblast growth factor, its salt and the DNA of the polypeptide. SOLUTION: The polypeptide contains an amino acid sequence essentially same as the amino acid sequence specified in the specification. The protein (polypeptide), its partial peptide or their salts and a DNA coding for the polypeptide, or the like, are useful for the preparation of antibody and antiserum, the construction of the expression system of the objective polypeptide, the screening of a candidate compound of pharmaceuticals using the expression system, or the like. |
