PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, with which direction is automatically canceled within the range of not damaging game property so that a player can efficiently proceed with the game. SOLUTION: A game machine 1 is provided with reels 3L, 3C and 3R for variably displaying plural picture patterns and a liquid crystal display device 5 for performing display different from the variable display of picture patterns and on the basis of a successful role determined for each game and the stop operation of the player, the rotations of the reels 3L, 3C and 3R are controlled to stop. In such a game machine 1, when the variable display on the reels 3L, 3C and 3R is stopped and a picture display situation is a prescribed situation, the display on the liquid crystal display device 5 is finished. The prescribed situation is a stop situation, with which the determined result in a successful role determining means can be recognized easily for the player, for example.
