PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a vinyl chloride graft copolymer enabling stable polymerization free from adverse effect of styrene monomer in the case of graft-polymerizing vinyl chloride to an acrylic copolymer. SOLUTION: The vinyl chloride graft copolymer is produced by the graft- copolymerization of (a) 50-99 wt.% vinyl monomer composed mainly of vinyl chloride to (b) 1-50 wt.% acrylic copolymer using an aqueous emulsion solution having a styrene monomer concentration (concentration reduced to the aqueous emulsion solution having an acrylic copolymer concentration of 30 wt.%) of <=1,000 ppm in the aqueous emulsion solution containing the acrylic copolymer composed of at least one kind of (meth)acrylate giving a homopolymer having a glass-transition temperature of >=-140 deg.C and <0 deg.C, 100 pts.wt. of styrene monomer and 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a polyfunctional monomer.
