PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking mechanism in prefabricated kennels attachable and detachable by a simple operation through one-touch operation, having an excellent design. SOLUTION: This locking mechanism is equipped with two lower slide rails 6 and 6 in the longitudinal direction on the top of a top plate 1a of a kennel main body 1 and with two upper slide rails 7 and 7 on the underside of a bottom plate 1b so as to pile and mutually oppose the rails at fixed intervals in parallel. Locking metal fittings 8 and 9 to be mutually engaged are attached to the upper and the lower slide rails 6, 6, 7 and 7 while sliding in the longitudinal direction the opposing faces of the upper and the lower slide rails 6, 6, 7 and 7 of upper and lower kennels to be piled. The locking metal fittings 9 are composed of seizing insertion plate parts 9a and base parts 9b. On the other hand the locking metal fittings 8 are composed of seizing receiving plate parts 8a and base parts 8b.
