BALLOON-TYPED CORE FOR WAX MODEL PRODUCTION IN INVESTMENT CASTING

PURPOSE: Provided is a balloon-typed core for wax model production in investment casting which produces a core as balloon type to inject or remove air for producing the core as a wanted form and releasing a wax model easily so that it raises work efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The balloon-typed core for wax model production in investment casting is characterized by placing the balloon-typed core(20) within a molding groove(24,25) between an upper frame(10) and a lower frame(12) and injecting air through an air injection hole(22) to expand the balloon-typed core and keep external side distant from internal side of the molding groove, pouring wax into space between the core and the molding groove and hardening wax to separate the upper and the lower frame, drawing the wax model(16) from the molding frame and removing air through the air injection hole to withdraw the core.
