摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drop super-abrasive grains with a larger quantity of projection than that of others before the main grinding. SOLUTION: Plural super-abrasive grains 4 are fixed on a base metal 2 of an electro-deposited wheel 11 with a first metal-plated layer 22, and about 50% of the super-abrasive grains 4 are buried by applying a second metal-plated layer 23 over the first metal-plated layer 22. Under this condition, the super- abrasive grains 4a with a larger quantity of projection from the second metal- plated layer 23 than that of the other super-abrasive grains 4 are dropped by the grinding with a general abrasive grain grindstone 26 or the blast. Then, as a secondary burying step, 60-80% of the super-abrasive grains 4 are buried by applying a third metal-plated layer 28. After that, ice 20 fixed to a freezing chuck device 14 by the electro-deposited wheel 11 is ground with a larger load than the main grinding process so that the remaining super-abrasive grains 4a with a larger quantity of projection are dropped.
