PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a steering device capable of converting the rotation of a steering shaft to the axial movement of a rack member at high efficiency in a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A spiral engagement groove 10 is formed in an outer periphery of the steering shaft 2 rotated according to the steering operation, and plural feed bearings R1 to R3 eccentrically held on a rack cylinder 4 for penetrating the steering shaft 2 are engaged with the engagement groove 10 in one circumferential portion. The rack cylinder 4 is pressed to be moved in the longitudinal direction by axial component force applied to the engagement part when the feed bearings R1 to R3 roll along the engagement groove 10 according to the rotation of the steering shaft 2.
