PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial agent derived from human and exhibiting effective antibacterial action against dental bacteria causing dental caries and periodontosis, etc., and provide a bactericidal method using the antibacterial agent. SOLUTION: The antibacterial agent against streptococci contains an antibacterial peptide as an active component. The method for exterminating streptococci comprises the use of the antibacterial agent.
