PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rotation of a manual feed tray in an open condition by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A hinge mechanism 12 comprises a pair of shafts 21 integrated with both sides of a lower end part of a fitting base unit, and a pair of hook bodies 22 which are formed in a tray base member 131 of the manual feed tray 13 and rotatably engaged with the shafts 21, and an engagement body 25 having an engagement claw 24 on its tip is integrated with one shaft 21 in this hinge mechanism 12. When the manual feed tray 13 is opened, the engagement claw 24 is abutted on a peripheral surface 224 opposite to a side having a notch 223 of the hook body 22 as the engagement part, a trough part on a root side of the engagement claw 24 is engaged with the hook body 22 in an attachable/detachable manner, and the manual feed tray 13 is locked in an open condition so that the manual feed tray 13 is prevented from being pulled together with the paper sheet and rotated in the closing direction by the friction force when pulling in the paper sheet.
