PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for forming a rice ball in which grains of rice are hard to stick and forms the rice ball and separating the formed rice ball from the mold are efficiently conducted. SOLUTION: The mold 1 for forming the rice ball comprises a pair of top mold parts 2A, 2B and a cylindrical guide part 3 for guiding the top mold parts so as for top mold faces 23, 23 of a pair of the top mold parts to be approached each other, wherein each of the top mold faces is provided with at least two kinds of rugged patterns of a first rugged pattern 24 and a second rugged pattern 25 finer than the first rugged pattern in a mixed state and an inner face 33 of the guide part is provided with a third rugged pattern 34 finer than the first rugged pattern. |
