PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new precursor of an ultraviolet absorber having low crystallinity, and to provide a composition causing no image deficiency due to the crystallization of the precursor of an ultraviolet absorber and excellent in storage stability even in the case where it is held in a high temperature environment. SOLUTION: A precursor of an ultraviolet absorber shown by the general formula (I) (wherein, R1 and R2 are each an alkyl; R3, R4, R5 and R6 are each a protecting group which is removed by heating; R7, R8 and R9 are each independently H, an alkyl, an alkoxy, a halogen or an aryl).
