PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor front, rear and side directions even at night with an image equivalent to that in daytime and to prevent detection capability deterioration from an external light source such as headlights of an oncoming vehicle, afternoon sun or the like. SOLUTION: An infrared light emission apparatus 1 is built in a floodlight 2 attached to a vehicle, infrared light irradiated from the infrared light emission apparatus 1 and reflected back is picked up by an infrared light camera and a image taken by the infrared light camera is displayed on a monitor.
