PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method with which the clogging of an immersion nozzle and a spouting hole are prevented and a cast slab having little defect is produced. SOLUTION: The continuous casting is performed by using a two-hole nozzle as the immersion nozzle in the range satisfying 1<=(1-αL)+q/Q<=10, in the case of using L (mm) for distance between the bottom surface of the immersion nozzle and the center position in the height direction of a blowing member for soluble gas, q (N-liter/min) for blowing amount of the soluble gas, Q (ton/min) for flowing rate of molten steel in the immersion nozzle andαfor coefficient.
