PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for welding a face material to a material sheet tenaciously, even when the face material is hard to weld. SOLUTION: The face material 27 is thermally welded in a lapping fashion at least on one of the sides of the sheeting 13 consisting of a thermoplastic resin composition. A load is applied, in the thickness direction, to a lapped form 20 of the material sheet and the face material at a higher or lower temperature within 15 deg.C above the glass transition temperature of the composition or at a higher or lower temperature with 10 deg.C above the melt point of the composition and in such a way that the width range of the load on the lapped form gradually decreases from the entirety to the center of the width in accordance with the forward run of the material sheet. Next, the load is applied, in the thickness direction, to the lapped form 20 of the material sheet and the face material at a higher temperature by more than 15 deg.C above the glass transition temperature of the composition or at a higher temperature by 10 deg.C above the melt point of the composition and in such a way that the width range of the load on the lapped form 20 gradually increases from the center to the entirety of the width in accordance with the forward run of the sheet. |
