PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building breaker capable of facilitating wrecking work of a concrete building. SOLUTION: This breaker is provided with a pair of breaking arms which are rotatable with first slender parts as the centers respectively and have sides each being opposite to the other respectively wherein the rotation of each of the breaking arms is performed by driving the corresponding one of hydraulic cylinders each of which is connected to the corresponding one of second end parts positioned apart from the above sides respectively, the breaking arms are bent each in the same direction as the bending direction of the other and provided with cutter parts respectively, the repulsion force applied from a material to be broken to the cutter parts can be reduced by adjusting the angle between the surface of the material to be broken and each of the cutter parts, brought into contact with the surface of the material to be broken; and also, by bending the breaking arms, the front end of each of the cutter parts can be observed to facilitate the breaking work. Further, the demolition work of a edge projecting from a building main body can be facilitated and also, the breaking work of a structure placed below an underground installation can be facilitated by the bent parts of the breaker.
