PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush with sponge and scrubbing brush with sponge which have the rugged parts cleaning and washing performance of the brush and scrubbing brush and the detergent-and water-retaining performance of the sponge scrubbing brush in combination and can consequently effectively make up the drawbacks of both, i.e., the lack of the detergent-and water- retaining performance of the brush and the scrubbing brush and the lack of the rugged pats cleaning and washing performance of the sponge scrubbing brush with each other. SOLUTION: The brush A1 or A2 with the sponge is integrally mounted and provided with the sponge 4 of the shape and thickness meeting those of the top surface in the front part 2a of a grip 1 or handle 2 in the segments meeting the base of a multiplicity of the bristles 3 or the scrubbing brush B1 with the sponge is integrally mounted and provided with the sponge 6 of the shape and thickness meeting those of the top surface of the scrubbing brush B or the top surface of the grip in the segments facing the base portions of the bundled bristles 5.
