DOOR STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door structure for an automobile capable of incorporating a modular glass lift mechanism without boring a large incorporating hole on an inner panel. SOLUTION: A door trim 13 is divided into an upper trim 131 and a lower trim 132, and the glass lift mechanism 5 is fitted to the inner face of the lower trim 132 so that the upper end of a guide rail 7 is protruded higher than the upper edge of the lower trim 132. The glass lift mechanism 5 is inserted into the incorporating hole 2a of the inner panel 2 from the upper end of the guide rail 7 of the glass lift mechanism 5 and incorporated into a door bag section 1b, then the lower rim 132 is lowered along the inner panel 2 to fit the glass lift mechanism 5 and the lower trim 132 to the inner panel 2. The modular glass lift mechanism 5 can be incorporated into the door bag section 1b by boring the relatively small incorporating hole 2a shorter in length than the whole length of the guide rail 7 on the inner panel.
