PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin composition which is equal in property to a composition prepared by a conventional kneading method without using a masterbatch. SOLUTION: The method for producing the thermoplastic composition comprises dry blending a masterbatch and two or more kinds of neat resins, wherein the masterbatch is prepared by melting to knead at least a thermoplastic resin and/or a rubber and a compressed filler. Another method for producing the thermoplastic composition comprises dry blending two or more kinds of masterbatches and one or more kinds of neat resins, wherein the masterbatches are prepared by melting to knead at least a thermoplastic resin and/or a rubber and a filler, at least one kind among the masterbatches using a compressed filler as the filler.
