PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling vehicle capable of preventing release of a travel stop state of a vehicle body in the case of an ON state of an accelerator when the vehicle body stops. SOLUTION: In this cargo handling vehicle, in the case that an accelerator lever is not positioned at a neutral position (NO at S5) when the pallet truck is in the stop state (YES at S1), the travel stop state of the pallet truck is maintained to prevent a sudden start of the pallet truck (S3). In the case that the accelerator lever is returned to the neutral position (YES at S5), the travel stop is released (S4).
