PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid pipette capable of optionally switching its operation to the manual or the motor-driven operation. SOLUTION: The hybrid pipette device possesses a pipette case (11), a slide shaft (22), a plunger (31), springs (33 and 34) for pressing the plunger (31) upward, an engaging body (41) engaged uniaxially with the slide shaft (22) and inserted into a hole (12a1) of the case (11) side at least vertically movable and an electric motor (51) provided at an axial center position different from the axial center of the slide shaft (22) and connected to and engaged with the engaging body (41) operationally. At the time of the motor-driven operation, the engaging body (41) is driven and vertically moved by driving the motor (51) and then, the plunger is vertically moved to suck and discharge a liquid.
