PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink replenishment device which can surely replenish ink to sub ink tanks by correctly positioning a relative position between a member of the ink replenishment side and a member of the recording head side, and an ink jet recorder with the ink replenishment device. SOLUTION: A guide frame body 54 is arranged in a fixed frame 52 of the ink replenishment device 46. Ink replenishment units 48 are set to the guide frame body 54. The ink replenishment units 48 approach to and separate from corresponding sub ink tanks 30 independently of each other in storage parts 70 of the guide frame body 54. When a positioning arm 60 set to the guide frame body 54 advances, a recording head carriage 14 and the guide frame body 54 are positioned in a width direction. When the ink replenishment units 48 advance, the ink replenishment units 48 and the sub ink tanks 30 are each positioned by positioning pins 78 projecting from the respective ink replenishment units 48. |
