PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording body excellent in the adhesion of an anchor coat layer to a substrate and a thermal recording layer and in the swell resistance of the anchor coat layer to a plasticizer. SOLUTION: In the thermal recording body having the anchor coat layer constituted mainly of a hydrophobic resin and the thermal recording layer containing leuco dye, a development and an adhesive on the substrate sequentially, the swell of the anchor coat layer with dioctyl phthalate(DOP) is made 30% or less as one means for attaining the purpose. |
