PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a human bladder cancer antibody that is applicable to the diagnosis/treatment of various cancers and tumors such as bladder cancer, a gene encoding the antibody, and so on. SOLUTION: The objective human bladder cancer antigen (e.g. KU-BL-50) that reacts only with the bladder cancer patient serum, does not react with the healthy person serum, and is highly expressed in the bladder cancer cell and tissue is created by preparing a cDNA using an mRNA obtained from a bladder cancer cell line, followed by screening a bladder cancer cell cDNA library (a sum of 4.0×105 λ phage cDNA clones) prepared by infecting Escherichia coli by transducing the cDNA into λ phage vector using a bladder cancer patient serum. |
